Kyōko is a kirie (i.e., paper cutting) artist who also publishes some of her art as screenprints. More than sixty of these prints include flowers and (or) birds and ten examples are shown below. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Kyōko typically simplifies the colors her flower and bird subjects using mainly black or white. She may also simplify their shapes, especially those of birds.
